Unix Koans of Master Foo - several extremely
entertaining koans written by Eric S. Raymond in the style of

- Long Life
Foods MREs (Meal Ready to Eat) are basically the
pre-packaged food meals that the military uses. they are
relatively cheap and light compared to the freeze-dried
alternatives, and are ideal for backpackers who prefer
convenience and taste over an unnoticeable increase in weight
to their packs.

perhaps better than Slashdot, Boing Boing thoroughly
catalogues various social, political, and cultural happenings
in our increasingly technological society. worth reading
every day.

Searchlores considered the next generation of fravia,
searchlore is the rebirth of the art of information hacking,

are worth at least a few hours of reading.
- SaveMyAss

long time. collaborative cultural review. for SF, beats
sfgate/sfstation/et al.

is the most brilliant woman I have ever met or known. and
I've met some great minds all around. but here's the
clincher: my absolute all-time favorite book is Neal
Stephenson's The Diamond Age, and she's building the Young
Lady's Illustrated Primer!!! And this link is to her blog on
it. Just fucking brilliant.
